ENEMP 2026 Strengthens Research in Particulate Systems
Event in Vassouras Will Bring Together Experts and Students to Drive Scientific and Technological Development in the Country
The Brazilian Congress on Particulate Systems (ENEMP 2026) reaches its 42nd edition, established as one of Brazil’s most important scientific events in the fields of particulate systems and flow in porous media. With over five decades of tradition since its first edition in 1973 in Rio de Janeiro, the congress remains committed to promoting science, innovation, and collaboration among researchers.
The 2026 edition will be organized by the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), in partnership with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the University of Vassouras. The event will take place from October 18 to 21 at the General Sombra Convention Center in Vassouras, a city renowned for its historical and cultural significance in the Coffee Valley.
ENEMP stands out as the main national platform for sharing research, exchanging experiences, and building partnerships in the field. The congress brings together professionals, faculty, and students from various areas, including Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Agronomy, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, as well as foundational disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
With a program focused on presenting scientific work and technical discussions, the event aims to promote knowledge exchange, encourage technological innovation, and strengthen the Brazilian scientific community. Over the years, ENEMP has played an essential role in advancing engineering and technology in the country.
